You can apply for production support of three different project types: 

Fiction Film 
Mostly shortfilms, admitted on the basis of a carefully worked out manuscript. 

Documentaries 
Here we expect a strong personal engagement and reflection on your work as a documentarist. 

Art Related Projects 
This kind of support creates the opportunity for collaboration with visual artists in a broad field - from installation art to dance and theater.

Moreover, it is also possible to apply for a consultant to help develop your idea and your script.

It is important that your application specifies your particular idea, and that you attach your considerations regarding economy, planning and distribution. 

We do not expect that you are already familiar with producing films - our desire is mutual cooperation on developing new media narratives. 

A project at Aarhus Film Workshop begins after a detailed joint planning and signing of a mutually binding contract.
