Aarhus Film Workshop receive vocational trainees from the 8th grade and up.

If your hopes and dreams are, to work with film, perhaps a week's work experience at Aarhus Film Workshop could be something for you.

Before you approach us, please read the following with your educational supervisor.

We make no distinction between the country you live in or what kind of school you come from. What is important is that you are passionate about working with moving images.

We do not have the resources to do individual courses for the internship, so you cannot expect to get specific training as, for instance a film director or a photographer. What you will experience depends on which projects we have at the moment.

You will typically be requited to meet at 9:00, while the day end of work depends on which you are assigned to. After 15:00 it is up to you to decide how long you would like to stay.

It would be a good idea to bring a packed lunch and to wear sensible clothes. It would also be wise to familiarize yourself with us on so you feel comfortable with the film workshop before you arrive.

At the end of your internship you will receive a written internship statement.

To qualify for an internship please send us a written request by e-mail in which you briefly explain to us:

-        Who you are and where you live.

-        In which period you wish to do the internship.

-        Why you wish to do the internship at The Film Workshop.

-        What you expect to get out of the internship.

We receive a lot of applications, so the sooner you send your application the greater your chances are of getting an internship.

Send your application to the internship host Carsten Meinhardt:

We look forward to hearing from you.
