We are happy to welcome Hlynur Pálmason on the 20th of February at Aarhus Filmworkshop. Hlynur is at the chore of attention these days, as his higly acknowledged "Winter Brothers" is receiving numerous prizes and nominations. Hlynur states the following as to what he will be talking about at Aarhus Filmworkshop:

 

I will talk about the creative process. I will explore audio and visual expression with sounds clips and dialog.

We also explore the internal or the core, the beating heart of a project and how important it is to nurture and care for it. I think film have something internal and I would like to talk about this.

We talk about hearing and seeing and if it’s incorporated in the script itself. I see the script as a composition and I would like to talk about this.

We explore the need and want to express oneself and the private and personal angle of making a film. The balance between work and family, between reality and fiction or personal and private.

We explore the art of cinema as being both a mental and a physical experience.

The talk took place at Aarhus Filmværksted, Skovgaardsgade 3, entrance 3F, 8000 Aarhus C on the 20th of February from 16.00-18.30
